Project Manager – Easy Apply

The Project Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks to ensure satisfied customers. This role has responsibility for assigned projects and manages customer satisfaction, definition, planning, monitoring, and other aspects of a project.

Must have a minimum of 3 years project management experience, preferably in the technology and/or wholesale distribution industry.

II. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements accordingly to realize each for the stakeholder.
  • Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the tools needed, and provide timely feedback.
  • Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives.
  • Track progress and review project tasks and budgets to make certain deadlines are met appropriately.
  • Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity and customer goals.
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to management and customers.
  • Follow Central Data policies, procedures and methodologies.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with customers, keeping the customer’s needs and requirements continuously in view.
  • Work collaboratively with Professional Services and other Central Data staff to maintain thorough knowledge of projects, and to ensure that all communications between Central Data and its customers are precise.
  • Define & maintain all implementation processes, manage implementation lifecycle; coordinate documentation when needed.
  • Arrange customer training and align training with customer goals.
  • Maintain timelines and target dates in Microsoft Excel / CRM / Project, TBD.
  • Organize and facilitate project planning, daily meetings, reviews, retrospectives, and other agile project related meetings.
  • Ensure the Professional Services team is practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
  • Facilitate productivity by ensuring that the team has tools to succeed.
  • Find and work to remove development and project roadblocks; motivates the development team and keep them excited to move forward; protects the team from outside distractions.
  • Assist in managing the team – Ensure that commitments are being upheld.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

IV. Experience

  • 2-5 years of project management experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in the distribution and/or ERP software industry preferred.
  • Candidates with PMP Certification will be given priority

V. Communication Skills

  • Verbal / Nonverbal – Convey easily and quickly any message; Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens attentively and seeks clarification; Responds well to questions; Maintain professional nonverbal communication comparable to situation
  • Written – Writes clearly and informatively with a high level of sophistication; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret complex written information.

VI. Computer Skills

  • Become and remain proficient in all programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position.
  • Proficiency and Experience in MS Project required
